Timberyard

We like lots about Timberyard and their tag line:
Tea, coffee, work and play.  Re-imagined.
See tomorrow's post about the book Out of Office to make more sense.

Located on Old Street along from Look Mum No Hands.  Popcorn in pots.
Pitta Chip crisps and great hot drinks.

Quirky Corporate

Milburns, part of global foodservice company Compass, is able to endorse the quirky at their MOSI (Museum of Science and Industry) cafe in Manchester.  Lego condiment rack makes the kids smile and crisps are displayed in cutaway gas cylinders.  Bravo.

In Your Face Crisps

Caffe Nero clearly sells more crisps when they (almost) hit you in the face when buying a sandwich. Clipped onto the multideck chiller, these work a treat.

That Extra Sale - Crisps

Check out how ever-innovative Pret are displaying/selling their crisps - rustic looking bins in front of every multi-deck chiller. Look for your sandwich and see the crisps immediately in your line of sight. Simple, clever and will add to take up and that all important average spend.
