Giant deckchairs and local character cut-outs are this season's additions at Holkham Estates' Beach Cafe at Wells-next-the-Sea.  Manager Alan Miller keeps generating the innovations.  Bravo.

The coffee price war continues with Giraffe restaurants offering take-out lattes and cappuccinos at 50p until 10.30am Monday to Friday.

Happy Hours

POD's £1 latte, cappuccino and flat white promotion from 10-12 and after 3pm is different from the usual filter coffee promotions.

Grab a Box

Burford Garden Company have the clever idea of encouraging take-away sales of cakes (at cafe prices) by having stacks of cardboard boxes by the cakes.  It worked and we left £20 the poorer!
