Self Help Cafe

Architectural Plants are a Sussex nursery specialising in interesting, unusual, quirky and bizarre plants - they reckon they are an antidote to garden centres!  They want the best and their self-help cafe is beautifully kitted out.
The horticulturists are trained baristas, the cordials are on dispense and the coffee is free if you are a good enough customer.
 Custom made tea selection box
Laser-etched signage on wood and marble sideboard.
"If you'ld like a cup of tea or coffee and don't mind making it yourself, please help yourself"  message and in several languages.

The first cafe we have seen selling coconut water (and some original soft drinks in smart reusable juice bottles).  Attendant (the cafe in a underground toilet) is spot on.
Drinks are served with a jam jar 'cup', ice and fat straw.

Coconuts, Cucumbers & Coobo

Coconut water was everywhere at IFE.  Low in calories, premium priced it is big in the USA and in the rest of Europe apparently.  I learnt that the real stuff comes from young coconuts, such as the Dr Antonio Martins brand, whilst Coca-Cola have their Zico brand (from concentrate but sadly I preferred the taste).
Qcumber cordial won the best drink innovation award
Coobo is the first bubble tea in a bottle.  An unusual taste sensation.

Ingredients on the Glass

Ingredients listed at the base of Doombar's pint glass and an idea that could be used on specific cake plates or coffee mugs. It reads: Natural Ingredients - Cornish Water, English Malted Barley, Whole Hop Flowers and Sharp's Unique Yeast.  Good beer, great marketing.
